painting

Hi,
I'm thinking to change the wall color in the control room.
tha walls here are thik gibs walls filld with insolution and painted with one layer of (ugly) wall-paint.
I'll need at least 2 layers of paint to do the cosmetic treatment.
will it change the rooms sound?
thanx
guy

Unless you plan on using some sort of "textured" paint (like sand or some other acoustic stuff), the answer is no. At least not to the point that you would ever notice it.
