VSC Soft Synth

When I''ve been using my VSC soft synth, all of the banks sound the same. For instance, if I select a Moog Organ and Variation 8, a regular organ will be played. Not only do I hear the regular organ, but in the VSC control screen it says Organ 1, not Moog Organ. This sucks. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have a patch assigned in your track view,if thats the case set it to none .
Another possibility is that when you reopen the vsc it goes to a default setting,maybe a GM soundset rather than a GS soundset.
If this is the case reset the VSC to your liking and make a preset that can easily be loaded.
Have you been saving your work after you get everything set the way you want it?
