I have built a room with the space that I had available to me. The mode calculations are attached in a text file. I do see some definite trouble spots but am not sure what I should do about them.
I will be using the room for vocal tracking/mixing. I am planning on building a bookshelf along the back where I will do my vocal stuff. But what else should I be looking into? I have also been considering building some gobos with old doors and some isulation with a cover on one side and live on the other. Thanks for any advice and help. Ryan |

Yes a typical set of figures for a long narrow room such as yours. There is the typical problem around the low mid frequencies (250Hz) I'd suggest you break up the parallels with angled slots as per:

Since the room is so narrow do you feel that setup will take up too much space?
PS Should I stick with the bookshelf? Thanks Ryan |

If I build all the pieces in the picture should I tune all the slats to 250 Hz?
Each piece looks easy enough to build ( although my local lumber yard only has 5/8 mdf @ 18 $ a sheet) Thanks again |

I found 3/4" MDF at the Home Depot near my house selling 4'x8' sheets for $18... check it out.
