Where can I find a cover for my FD-8? I want to keep it dust-free as it thus far has collected its fair share of the stuff. I've heard of companies that make covers, but I have yet to figure out who they are.

Go to the housewares and electronics section of your nearest Wal-Mart or equivalent with the dimensions. Look for covers for VCRs and toaster ovens and stuff like that...be patient and you can save big buck$. I use a VCR cover with one edge torn up to cover my giant TASCAM 488, not pretty but I had it laying around. Make sure all the jacks and sliders are covered...
