One of my friends just gave me a 6 channel mixer and it needs some work. The brand is a Tapco 6200B. My question is, is this thing worth putting any money into? I currently have a 24 channel board that works great but the extra 6 channels would come in handy because I am already using all 24 channels.
Thanks

I've never heard of it and suspect it's intended for PA or video or DJ applications (don't bother looking up what you think might be their Web site, you'll get a real surprise! :-)

WOW. Never heard of tapco. It is made by EV before it was ev. I played with a tapco when i was like 3. 15 years later, i traded it for a symetrix compressor. I used to do silly stuff with a tapco spring reverb, analog 1/2 track and the effects sends. You could probably change the transformers and some capacitors and it might sound pretty nice.
