I hate my Korg

I once started with a M1, which I traded for a wavestation EX, which I traded for a 01W/FD which I traded for a N264. This last one really sucks. It took me 2 years to find out how to switch a sound. This thing is a programmers nightmare.

I love my N364, although it did take some getting used to at first.

Thumbs up

I have a Korg CX-3 and a Univox Mini Korg K-1. I love them both.

Translation - "Oh, you don't like that granny smith apple? Well, then try an orange."

Not that I'm some expert , but the N264 is a PCM based synth, a wholly different animal any of these.

Damn, this bbs gets annoying sometimes.

I'm using an N1. I find it very versatile. Pretty easy to use aswell. Good for live performance.

maybe if you can find an old Arp 2500..... Might even take you an hour or so, just to get a sound out of it. No normal'd connections there!

Played the N264 for the first time real yesterday. Some band had recorded a heavy song, and wanted to add some symphonic part on the end with strings...so I asked them, how are you gonna do that? uuuhhhmmmm with THAT keyboard maybe?......Who'se gonna play it?.....uuuuhhhhmmmm can you play?.....Jeesss haven't played in a while but I'll try...So now we have this cool symphonic part at the end.

KORG N-Series is the best of lines... I love 'em... Both N364 & N1, while their brother's Trinity & Triton also cool brothers... with your experience range from M1 through N264, you must love it more and more... Imho...

Actually not, I loved the M1, and from their on it went down (with respect to the years offcourse) I understand the N264 ain't bad, but was I bought the M1 I knew how it had to be operated, and it was fairly simple (or I was just plain smart like Roel), the N264 is a brainkiller. It possible has to do with the fact that I use the gadget hardly. I doesn't help its that complicated either.

I just used my N364 on yet another track... this thing is still earning for me. I love it. Also I seem to be using the N364 as my main controller more and more lately... more than my trinity... weird.
