Special offer for Cubase users

Hey everyone,

I was checking out your discussion board, and thought you'd be interested in a great offer. I work for Cakewalk, and wanted to let you know we have an exclusive offer on SONAR 2.0 for Cubase users. It's available until July 15. You won’t believe the offer when you see it. We’re even providing a free VST/DX wrapper (60-day trial version). If you're interested, visit www.cakewalk.com/getsonar/

Thumbs down

Don't think you'll get many takers now that SX is out.

Besides most Cubase users came over from the Cakewalk camp.

If anything, Logic would be the logical choice, it's cross-platform and can interface with TDM hardware.

Ray Charles using software, that's funny! It was obvious that somebody else made the choice.

Actually, SONAR is renowned for being accessible to visually impaired users by providing an effective interface to third-party screen reader applications. Cakewalk won an American Federation for the Blind (AFB) Access Award in Washington DC last year for making sure its products are accessible to visually impaired users. This opens up the door for them to make music on their PCs, an opportunity they might not have access to otherwise. Ray Charles and Billboard charting pianist Kevin Kern are just a couple of our visually impaired users.

Cake260, I know you're here to sell your product- that's not really appreciated as this is NOT a place for manufacturers to huff their wares. NOT cool at all- which is why the conversation is off your topic.

Advertising is not allowed here according to the rules laid out by Dragon, the site owner. I'm actually surprised that you came back to see how the thread was going- most spammers don't.

That said, it kicks butt that blind folks are recording stuff. I'd think that the tight hardware systems (Pro Tools) would make better choices, but congrats on the award.

Good luck, but please don't continue advertising (i.e. spamming) here. Stick around and enjoy the discussions as there is a lot to learn and share here- just don't do it as a Cakewalk employee...

Chris
