Has anyone got any clue on how to create/configure studio patch files (*.dev) with dmaker for cubase?
I've been messing around with settings and hexadecimals and I'm completely stuck. I can't find any documentation on the internet, apart from someone saying: "if you want to learn it, experiment a little" I know D4 understands more than a simple sysex command, because I've found a stand-alone editor that does the job perfectly, but has some other limitations. I've got a D4 and two Quadraverbs I want to set up from within Cubase VST this way. There are some default setups shipped along with Dmaker but these only show patch names. Has anyone created a dev-file for either one of these instruments or has anyone has some tips on how to get me started writing these files? Thanks a lot!
