Zomax speaker

Has anyone heard of Zomax speakers? the one I have is a "p1250", no other information, not even where it was made, which makes me suspicious, any info appreciated.

I believe they are made in New Zealand by Jansen Limited

Thanks, cunning buggers, it is in a Jansen amp, I had it stolen and 6 years later got it back, when I played it I wasn't happy with the sound so took the back off to check it out.
Thats where I found the Zomax, when it was new it had an Electro Voice, which had a nice sound. Somewhere along the line in the intervening 6 years it's been changed. I emailed Jansen in NZ, who are not the same company as they were and they told me it was an equivalent, it ain't.

Why don't you revert back to loading it with an EV?
The prices for the Zomax drivers are kinda steep, maybe you can go with the EV for almost the same amount of $.

The Zomax is fairly cheap when you consider the exchange rate of the N.Z. Dollar, we get about $1.20 for Aus$1 and for US$1 it would be NZ$2 approx, but the reverse happens with Electro Voice, they are over $300.00 in WA so I am going to go for an Eminence Beta 12. 150 watt which is $170.00 Aus.
I know all the stories about Eminence but they are in my Fender and I love it to death, plus I will be using this as a stage monitor and it will have keyboards and drums passing thru so I want the 150 watts.

Good choice on the Eminece Clive, I did not realize on the currency exchange.
