Any of you guys tried Power Tab?

It's a software thing that's let's you write music and then plays it back to so you can see how ot sounds. Also, there's a bunch of sites where you can download songs by your fav players. And the best part is that it's FREE!!!

Yes. It's not bad, but I feel guitar pro beats the pants off of it in terms of capability and control. Like you can loop on selected measures starting at low speed up, gradually increasing to full speed or faster by how ever many bps you'd like, to get a wild solo down by repetition. You can also mute or decrease the volume of other instrument tracks that might be confusing what you're really trying to here. No comparison.
