Info on Primus' gear and recording techniques on the 'Tales From The Punchbowl' album
http://www.ram.org/music/primus/equi...equipment.html
Some good info here. It seems they recorded it at a house with some ADATs and Mackie boards. This page says some things I don't quite understand, like 'Les put an AKG C1000 next to a sliding glass door for the cymbal'. If there's anybody who uses a lot of cymbals (rather than just one), it's Tim "Herb" Alexander (the drummer on that record). Still, it's informative. |
