VS-880EX External Drive?

Okay, I'm getting sick of my tiny stock hard drive on my VS-880EX. Does anyone recomend a drive that will fit it? I'd rather get an exteranal (that would be an old time scsi conneter isn't it...do they still sell external with that type of connection?), but If I have to, I'll replace the internal. I saw somewhere that it's only formated to hold 4GB. Is that right? Does that mean I can only put in a 4GB drive?
