Anyone know about Billy Anderson's recording techniques?
He does alot of primal organically heavy bands.. neurosis, eyehategod, the melvins, high on fire..etc etc.
I am floored by the drum sounds he gets..they are the most massive ever heard on any recording period and over the years they keep getting better. I would absolutley LOVE to know how he achieves those sounds. For an example of his recent recordings you can download a mp3 off of High on Fires new album 'Surrounded by Thieves' here : http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/371/high_on_fire.html
