Anyone know about Billy Anderson's recording techniques?

He does alot of primal organically heavy bands.. neurosis, eyehategod, the melvins, high on fire..etc etc.

I am floored by the drum sounds he gets..they are the most massive ever heard on any recording period and over the years they keep getting better.

I would absolutley LOVE to know how he achieves those sounds.
