Boss GT-6

Hi, new guy on the board here.
Anyone got a Boss GT-6?

I was the new guy a couple of days ago, so welcome from a fellow newbie. I recently bought a GT-6 and have really been liking it. And you?

I'm very satisfied with it, does everything I need and much more. But I haven't quite managed to use the CTL-function properly yet. I mean, it works sometimes and sometimes not. Don't know what I'm doing wrong... I'm certain I 'm following the instructions, so... it beats me.

I'm not going to be much help, here. The unit is still so new to me that I have not had much time to mess with the CTL-function yet.

I am not sure if this would help or not, but Roland has released an update for the GT-6. Maybe the glitch you are experiencing can be fixed with the update. Check it out here:

A couple of things, though....

You might email Roland and ask what they changed in the updated version. (I don't know for the life of me why they did not post the fixes on the site...)

Second, at least one person has had problems with the new patch. Not intending to say the patch is bad (it may be his particular GT-6), but this might be worth investigating.
