SCRATCH - the documentary
This is an indie film that is out. I live in Philly and saw it in town last week.
It's a pretty good film...but they failed to include any of the great Philadelphia Turntablist. Wak! Jazzy Jeff was shown in an audience for like 2 secs. watching Qbert. Has anyone else seen this movie?

Well, i haven't, but i hear that it's mostly illuminating west coasters, particularly the bay area cats, but that all in all it ain't so bad. When I found about where it was playing (1hr 45 mins from me), it was too late for me to catch it, it was already gone. But i figure that if it's a flick documenting any dj culture, then it's worth the media it's shot on. I'm from uptop, but I'll gladly rep with/for any 'tablists from anywhere around the bubble. No doubt.
I'm actually checking to see if it's still playing about 2 1/2 hours from here, if so, i'll check it within a week or two. Otherwise, DVD me.
