HELP....recording dist w/ SM57 and what else mic to reccomend?

I want good warm distortion, I have a sm57 and a marshall tube amp going in to a Roland VS-1680.

what other mic should should i use to double and pan guitar with?

Either another 57 angled and/or spaced differently or a Sennheiser 421.

Can I turn you on to this??

My favorite way to mic a Marshall 1960 cab is a 57 pointed directly at the edge of the cone in a bottom corner as close to the cloth as you can get without it touching. If it gets too boomy in the mix you can always throw a high-pass filter on it.
