roland u8

im thinking about purchasing a roland u8 console, however the most important feature to me is simultaneous recording channels and none of the websites tell me how many it can. can anyone tell me how many tracks this can record simultaneously? it appears to have 8 ins so im not really sure. any other info about it is helpful. later

Records one track at a time, plays back 8. Hope this helps!
