Samplitude to HD24

Hey all...

Got a question... has anyone tried editing HD24 files in Samplitude? I tried it the other day, and the HD24 wouldn't let me reupload them back to the machine.

Here is what I did... I downloaded all 24 tracks of a song... pulled up a few tracks I wanted to edit. Did my edits (I did NOT change any lengths etc of the files... just zero'd out some parts that I wanted silent to save on 10 handed mixing.

Anyway... saved the file... went to upload it and it won't go. I can upload one of the tracks I DIDN'T edit just fine.

Look at an edited track and an unedited track... they both show the same settings (same khz, bits, file size, length etc).

Just curious... I'd love to be able to actually edit.

Mixit,

From what I understand, you cannot change the file size... that is supposedly the one no no (from what I've read). But you are certainly supposed to be able to download and edit and repost the file. I know that an older version of the firmware had an issue with certain file headers (from Wavelab etc), but I'm at the newest firmware version, so I would have thought that was all fixed.
