ASIO drivers for win2k creative? help

does anybody have any updated information on what i can do to cut down my latency when using my Creative Sound Blaster Live Platimun 5.1 on Windows 2000?

I have seen previous posts about patches, but none seem very stable.....especially when dealing with Windows 2000.

Also, if the inevitable is that i should get a better video card.....which one would be optimal for direct multitracking into Cubase?

best set ive found for this is the latest KX drivers from KX forum,
we use thease at the colledge i work at and they allow a latency of 10 - 20 ms very usable !!
