Have You Guys Seen This? ProRec Monitor Review

http://www.prorec.com/prorec/article...256ae100044f41!OpenDocument

I thought the KRK's would have fared better from the way people rave about them here.........

Yes... I've seen it and I've heard almost each monitor Rowan reviewed... and I disagree with just about everything he said about each monitor!

All it demonstrates is how subjective a topic monitor selection is....

yes, Ive seen that one. I always use it to tease poor blue bear about his KRKs. The mix he did on them sounded good on my nasties though.

You're on point with that assesment Cuzzin' Brucie! Rip also gave
a rather kind review of Behringer's active monitors stating they
will provide adequate freq response and acceptable for critical
monitoring applications, and to MY ears they sound like ordinary
home stereo spkrs @flat and hyped EQ levels.

I focus more on Bill Park's review as he is a Harve Gerst Clone
and helped me a few times understand this expensive and rewarding field of RECORDING.

Yeah, but did your nasties mix sound good on the KRKS?!

Just kiddin'. I have a pair of nasties too and I love 'em. Just goes to show you how subjective the topic of monitor selection is...

Could it be that a guy who knows what he's doing could get a good mix on anything? Even NS-10m's?

Yes, C7... I saw these reviews when they were first posted back in October, 2001.

The thing that really pisses me off is that G.W. Bush KNEW all about these reviews long before they were posted on ProRec, and he did absolutely NOTHING to warn homereccers about crappy, inferior monitors!!!

Damn that Bush!

Now that Clinton dude he was cool, Even played the Sax. He wouldnt have been distracted from his duties to stop the reviews.
