BR 532 Mixdown internally?

So...I'm trying to get a song into the cpu to burn to a cd---but my pro tools isn't working well so I wanted to send the data over via the smartmedia card. Is it possible to mixdown in the Br-32 or do I have to use another recording device ie...the cpu....

I have a Zoom MSR-4, but I have a feeling it will work on your Boss machine.

I assume you are talking about mixing four tracks to two.

You will have to bounce the four recorded tracks to two virtual tracks.

I am sure your br532 must have a bounce funtion. Just set your virtual tracks as the bounce target, set your levels and go.

I am way new to this, but for what it's worth, in this article on the BR-532:
http://www.rolandus.com/products/pro...1_HO_BR532.pdf
the guy does just what GT describes. He uses the bounce feature to mix the tracks down to stereo on two available virtual tracks. Hope this helps.

BTW, the above file is a PDF, so you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.
