![]() I am curious about what setups people are using to monitor playback with the Darla sound card and its nifty box. I am thinking about buying some converters and running it out output Nos. 1 and 2 through a REALLY long red-and-white stereo cable into my home stereo across the way. I am willing to admit that there might be a better way. Through the computer's own speakers? How? That's been a big old void of silence so far with Darla -- I figure the signal comes off the sound card into the box and nowhere else. Many thanks. --jb |

That's a line level signal available at the jacks on that nifty box. So your idea about the long cord to your stereo will work fine.
That's how I do it. Computer speakers will also work if they're the amplified type (use some external power) but you'll need an adapter cable to get from two 1/4" plugs to one stereo 1/8" miniplug. |
