need help with soundcard issue and cubase???

ok i have two soundcards and i know one has to be disabled to use a steinberg product
my two cards are
santa cruz
and echo mia
now i disabled the santa cruz and i am trying to use the outs on the mia but for some reason it will just not play it keeps saying there is no asio driver, and then it cant be installed
does anyone know how to fix this???

...can you get the mia to play at all?--i.e. thru win media player?...try using dxdiag to track down your problem...
