how to record virtual instuments?

First I would like to say thanks to everyone on this board, it is really a great help and good recourse. I have been messing around with the virtual piano and stuff a lot lately, and I was wondering how I can record whatever I do on it to a track. Is this possible?

Hi ryan-p,

Yes this is possible for VSTi's. Check out the VST master mixer and note the export audio option. This is where it's done. The manual will have all the information.
