Im sorry... I dont mean to bump my own thread...but I have an important question.
Ive taken the advice and downloaded the direct x version of auto tune 3 from the antares web site for cubase vst 32. But When its all done I cant find the program. I can find the antares folder but there is no application or setup.exe or anything.
What the??

Well...I have cubase Vst 32 for the PC.
I went to the antares website and downloaded the direct X 10-day demo version for the PC. It looked like it installed itself. I got to the part where it asks you if you want to regester it or just click on the "TRY IT" button which is supposed to let you try it for 10 days.
I dont understand if I have to open it from within Cubase or if I have to open it as a seperate application. Like I said before I found the antares file folder on my C drive but there isnt anything to start up/open the program with...
When Im in cubase if I go to the "Panels" pull down menu I see a heading that says Direct X plugins but when I open that up all I can do is check or uncheck the box next to auto tune
That's the best description I can give

man@work is on a distinguished road
Hi MartyMcFly,

If you have installed it correctly, go to panels->vst send effects->
click on "no effect" and choose the "directx" option. Your
antares plugin should be there. This is a plugin...not a stand
alone program. It works the same as adding a reverb to
a track.

Hope this helps!
Mike
