can you record vocals in cubase??

I've never really used cubase and I'm possibly interested in purchasing it
but i heard that no one records vocals in cubase
its not meant for vocals

is this true?
cause the only thing i really need to record IS vocals


any help wouldbe great

Yuppers- I record vocals in Cubase all the time. Sometimes 10 tracks of vocals for one song.

And the sound quality kicks my old 4-track cassette's butt.

Cubase is meant for ALL recording- start to finish. Its doesn't matter what you want to record- if you capture it with a mic, Cubase (and any other recording program) will record it.
