vs880 and vs1880

I just purchased a vs1880. It should be arriving to my house on Monday. I can't wait! I already own a vs880. Will I be able to load my 880 songs into my 1880? I have them on my zip drive.

Thanks in advance for any answers at all.

I guess no one around here knows the answer so I'll answer myself.

For anyone who is interested, the answer is yes.

Although I'm a bit late to the game, yes, the answer is YES. You use the import function, then save as a 1680 file. You cannot however, take a 1680 song onto the 880 (DUH), or for that matter an 1880 song onto an 1824. Go figure...thanks Roland.

Actually, I used the import function and converted it to an 1880 file... not 1680 since my machine is an 1880. I was surprised at how well and quick the whole process worked. All my EQ, PAN and EFFECTS settings transferred over with no problems.

I am so happy with my 1880!

Yeah--enjoy it. I remember the day I sold my 880 and got the 1680. It was such a world of difference, I was (and still am) ecstatic!
