purge effects board?

I was wondering...is there a way to purge the effects board of all the user-made patches on my Vs-1680? Just to get back to square one. Thanks in advance for any advice

I haven't got a clue.

Why'd you wanna do that? When starting out, you have 200-something factory patches and 200-something user patches. The factory patches cannot be overwritten. The userpatches can. When starting out, the userpatches are an exact copy of the factory patches, in the same order.

So, you can just use the factory patches if you want to start from square one...

Ya know...I always wondered why it seemed the that there were so many effects.
But when I bought my recorder from the music store I got it with the effects board in it and it was used. So the guy told me that there were already some user made patches in it. I just wanted to know how to get rid of his presets.

As far as I know you cannot purge the user FX. The best bet is to go into the PRESETS, then save them as the same USER FX without making any adjustments. That will overwrite the former owner's presets, but it means you have to go through each FX one by one...
