Anyone used one? Thinking about getting one to run my mixes threw

I have a Radius 5 (Fatman) which is the mic pre and compressor all in one. It's a mono unit but even so, I wouldn't run a mix through one or even two if they could be linked. WAY too much color.

too much color?? huh! Well, my next thought is to get an older LA 3 or 4 limiter. Big bucks but hey I'd only buy it once! Thanks,Jim btw, is the fatman like too much bad eq??

It's more like a veil of fuzz that it puts over whatever you send thru it. It can be very cool as an effect on the occassional vocal track making it more aggressive sounding. Bass guitar too.
