How the hell does this thing work?

hey guys. I got a Midi Kiti Pro, from Kat. The problem is that I don't have a manual, and I can't buy it from here. So it's pretty much a black box to me. Even the guys at Kat told that they bet I couldn't use it without a manual (they seem to know how they suck as interface designers).

Anybody has one of these? How the hell does it work?

Hey cordura21,

I've got a drum kat (an older model) and even with a manual it is very difficult to assign control data to the individual pads.

I don't know how the midi kitty works, but with my unit I need to hold down a foot switch and hit "pad 1" just to get into the menu options. From there each drum "pad" performs various functions and hitting the pads "scrolls" thru the lines of data.

I don't envy you, with no manual you will have a huge learning curve to overcome.

thanks. This one doesn't have any pads, you connect the triggers directly. Ihave nailed some of the functions, but I'm far away to understand this machine.
