I thank Carmen for bringing that board to my attention because: Nobody there knows me yet, so I can talk loud about all sorts of gear I know nothing about and people will listen ... that is until they through me out of course  ..... wait, it's a BB they can't kick me out there. Yeay!

I checked it out and have to say I don't like the layout. The one here makes more sense in terms of dividing the posts up into categories that pertain to what you're actually looking for. I think I'll stay here.

Not everyone here is a "musician," so I don't see how you're posting it just for them. And I don't see how crossposting makes it any more helpful or useful as a resource. It just makes it more annoying.
Moderator? Umm, what moderator? Did you learn anything from the sonusman posting fest a few months back? And you ask why I care. I care because I enjoy being here, and using this community, and I don't enjoy bullshit crossposting SPAM. However, I have no problem with you doing it over there.

Cut that poor ...uhm ... guy/girl (Carmen?) some slack. He just told us about a new BB which is cool. I don't think Carmen implied that he'll leave this BB or even asked us, his closest buddies
, to start an exodus. And it's definitely not like it's "us" against "them at the other BB" ... so, there's a new BB in town that you can go to if you don't find your answers here.Actually, seeing how bitchy everyone's getting here (incl. CC), maybe we could fight our little alpha-male arguments over at the new forum and be all peaceful here ... ?

Im 99.9% sure Dragon wouldnt want links to competing BBS's.....all of us have posted links to articles and such at sites, but nothing that is direct competition to this site....
this issue has come up before...i cant remember the particulars....but Dragon deleted a thread because it posted a link to a competing site...... Carmen , you can go to my Artist Launch site if you wanna hear something i wrote, but they are only rough demos, and none of them use any good gear...i consider myself more a songwriter than a musician/engineer...... yep my one post mentioned the v67...but it also mentioned the C1.....

JESUS CHRIST GUYS! I cannot believe the outpouring of rancid emotions that this post has incurred. We are all free users of the internet and can go anywhere that we would like to go. The fact the forum in reference is a little anemic at this point is not the issue. If Dragon has problems with competition, then that is an issue. I thought it was all about sharing opitions, knowledge, thought etc. Hoving several places to do so hurts no one. This seems like a real exercise in boredon to slam Carmen for "crossposting". As far as I know, there is nothing to really gain for Carmen by directing users to that site. Everyone should spend more time making/recording music and less time at each others throat. I would be fine seeing this thread lapse into obscurity. But maybe that's just me.
