Casette Tape ?

Is a Tascam 414MKII a good way to get started recording ? I have it pretty well figured out. I think I need to master it somehow now. Can I bounce it from my computer as a Wav ?

A 414mkII is a good starter unit. You can bounce to some external device, but I'd suggest recording to a WAV file, burning an audio cd, then recording from an actual cd player back into the 414mkII, to get the bounce.

Just running the audio into and out of the soundcard may not sound as good as an actual cd on a cd player.
