choice of controller

I am looking into making a purchase of some sort of gear to use as controllers. I use mainly Nuendo, but the new Cubase SX looks like it could be useful if I pick that up. Anyway, I am curious about the Houston, anyone have it, anyone using it and liking it? How does it compare to the HUI, or Logic Control (yes I realize I would have to switch to logic) or anythign else?

And in addition to that, what about using a digital board with MMC as a controller? I am really liking the Soundcraft 328 XD. It says it can control nuendo, but how good would that be in comparison to the Houston? Any advice is appreciated.

MIKE
