POD Pro question for compressor effect

Dear Fellow Rockers!
Do you know if I can edit the compressor settings of a POD pro using it's software drivers? I mean attack and release times. Also using the software can I use the compressor with other effects like flanger and chorus. Do you find the software very useful? I really don;t want to use the softare and tie up another USB port unless it's relaly useful.

Have not had a chance to get the cable necessary to use the Software with my 2.0 yet, but the FX adjustments can be accessed a bit more than expected by holding the TAP tempo button while moving the knobs. I would suspect that there would be some info for you here:
