Prism is on a distinguished road
Bosphorus Cymbals

These don't seem to be as popular as other names such as Paiste, Sabian, Zildjian, etc. Anybody use them? A friend of mine who owns a music store carries them.

pretty good actually...

There's a great drum shop in Madison WI called Drums N Moore that I visit from time to time and I got a chance to hear them there. And since the store also carries Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian, UFIP, Istanbul and Meinl cymbals, I got to hear how they compare to other cymbals. If you play music that lends itself to darker funkier sounds, jazz or experimental, then these might be a good addition to your set up. Lots of character in these cymbals and not really for the A Custom or Z Custom crowd.

There's a guy by the name of Stanton Moore (no relation to the store name) who plays in a band called Galactic and also just put a solo record out that showcases the cymbal sounds pretty well...
