Serial Driver for Windows XP

A few months ago I inquired as to serial drivers for the QSR sound module (for Windows XP.) Alesis finally responded to the question:

We are not developing new serial drivers for the Windows 2000 XP format.
However, if you would like a work around. Simply go to
http://www.edirol.com The Roland driver SC-8820 version 3.2 serial driver is
compatible with our units.
