yeah. thanks for the tunnel trick. anyway like i said i don't mean
to say that i'm the "best recding studio guy ever" (load knows i'm not) but you see i also think cutting all that bass would sound bad but it don't.

let me tell you why...

you see al steros and boomboxes have a thing call "bass boost"
so if while your in the studio and you get the sound that you want when you play it on your boombox or stero most people in this world keep the bass boost on so when you play your cd whit the bass boost your kick may sound to boomy or even distorted.
a most people who play them in there cars have a lot of bass
turned up on the car cd players. trust me if you have all the things that i told you about in the kick drum post it will work.

Good flat monitors that tell the truth and sound just right when mixed will translate just fine to boomy systems, too. Usually. Most sytems cant boost what isnt there, or what you took away.

well you see i'm using a stereo recevier as my power amp. and i'm using rca monitors.(50W) they give me the true sound. you see sence i'm using a stereo recevier i can bass boost the sound.
i think that all bass boost systems boost the low end by atleast
6+ so i set my bass on my stereo recevier to 6+. i leave the rest of the hi's and mid's flat. you see this gives me a preveaw of how
the song will sound on a stereo or boom box with the bass boost systems. therefor i can shape the sound to sound good on almost any system without wasting a cd to see how it sounds on other systems.

You're 13, so this all makes sense to me. But don't fool yourself that you're getting the true sound by boosting by an arbitrary amount on your home stereo. It can take months or even years for a room and monitoring setup to correctly project audio. And it can take even longer than that for you to start to hear it correctly. Trust me, if you're still recording in 10 years you're going to listen back to the recordings you're making now in horror.
I do it all the time.

yeah charger, you could be right. but i've tryed alot of things and not one of them has came close to the sound i wanted. like i said when i played it in the car,stereo, 2 boom boxes it sounded the same or better.
