TwinQ preamp question

Has anybody tried out this preamp/compressor/eq unit? Would be interested in comments. I have noticed that there is an optional A/D converter that can be had for an added $200. I have noticed that preamps and converters are often priced similarly, so that would mean that the converter for the TwinQ looks to be especially..."economical"? So, I am wondering if this converter matches the quality of the preamp/compressor? If I purchased this preamp, would it be best to get a different converter?

Since I am asking for specific information, I would be happy to hear info from Alan on this. I would be interested in knowing how much I may have to spend to actually get higher quality conversion.
