Hi , me and my group are going to record a demo with a friend and we need a good set of mics, specialy for bass guitar, drums, trombone, tuba and oboe.
For electric guitars and vocals we think the best option are 57īs and 58īs. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

Oh...i forgot the "most important thing".
We are going to rent the mics, but i want average mics with good sound, i mean, we canīt afford expensive mics like very stratospheric condenser microphones. Thank you |

For the horns, some ribbon mics like Royers R-121 or Beyers M-160 or M-260 would be cool. They'd be nice as drum overheads too.
Kick drum, either AKG D-112, EV RE-20 or RE-27, ATM-25 would all be decent choices.
