Shock Mounts
Hi Guys & Gals
Finally recieved my V67. had a friend in New York buy it for me and ship it over. No distributor in Aus. Anyway... back to the point. It comes with a mic clip, but not a shock mount (which I did know about). Just wondering if it is really worth shelling out for one, considering it is another long distance purchase and postage situation? In what circumstances is a shock mount really neccessary? Probably 90% of its use will be in the studio with one singer in front of it. Will a shock mount be of any real assistance? Thanks Mark

shock mount
Mark, no worries mate!, what long distance shipping? RODE makes a unuversal shock mount that I think will fit your V67. I don't know the #, but I use it on an AKG C2000B, and the housings are about the same size. If a shock mount isolates the mike from vibration, it doesn't have to be the same brand. It cost me approx $25.00 US. Best of luck- Richie
