Fun with Antares Mic Modeller

It might not be 100%, but if you have this plugin and are bored, you can get a good idea of what some mics sound like compared to others if you take a .wav from a song you know <or other recorded sound>, set the source to bypass mic, and the destination to different mics..switch between to hear the subtle differences and colorations..I was just playing with this to see if I could get a guess between the differences between the Neumann KM184 and the Earthworks QTC1..and from a few quick listenings, I can't tell the difference between having the destination set to 'bypass' or the QTC1..now if I only had $1800 for a pair of these suckers, and some more for a Davisound pre or something as close to neutral as you can get.
