I have VST24, and I use it for doing audio only.
A friend has Logic, and swears I should give it a spin, claiming it is superior to cubase vst... I'm getting confused, and know next to nothing about logic... SO WHAT ONE IS BETTER FOR RECORDING AUDIO???? Thanks, Kirk out.

For audio only work I gotta agree with Babycham... Nuendo is the way.

Unless you have disposable income stick with what you have, the differences are not substantial. As far as getting Nuendo, you just may want to wait a few weeks and pick up the new Cubase SX. It's looking pretty good.

Dang, that new Cubase SX looks pretty impressive! Looks like they want to end the cubase vs logic quandry! I have VST24, and if they allow for an upgrade that is reasonable, I may have to get it. (hopefully version 1 won't be real buggy!) I get tired of hearing people try to compare logic & Cubase. It looks like this version will be a poor mans Nuendo!
Can't wait to see Sponge Bob
