Some VS-880EX questions.

I have a friend with an 880 and a XP-60 keyboard. I'm very comfortable with the XP-60 but don't know much about the 880.

He seems to think that there is a way to load midi files into his 880 from the XP-60. This doesn't seem right to me. Isn't the 880 strictly an audio recorder?
He wants to be able to load the midi files then take the 880 with him and download from that thru the scsi port.

Somebody clear this up for me. Am I wrong? Is there a way to load midi files into an 880 or am I, in fact, correct and the 880's only audio?

You are correct...you can't load midi files. You can sync up the VS to a sequencer, or you can upload a new OS to the VS via midi. That's really all that you can do with midi on a VS machine. You are correct.
