Vs-880
Helo Everyone. Well I just purchased the VS-880. I need some Help!!. Well When I am recording lets say track 2. Well I record a part of a song and I stop, Now how do I continue to record on the thack with out losing the stuff i just laid down. Now I am not trying to overlap what i am recording on the track i am just trying to start recording where I left off. Please some one help me out thanks alot.

You fast forword to the end of the first recording, arm the track and record. Use markers to mark all segments.

Look up the 'autopunch' feature in your manual...it will help you fix your problem...

this may be obvious....
....but dont rewind(song start) after you hit stop.

When you hit stop, it just stops like a tape recorder would.

If youve shut down and then come back to it then 72fender is right also in that you hit fast forward (song end) and the song will play from the last recorded point.

Now once you've started getting multiple tracks of varrying lenghts and want to go back anf forth then you need to start using locate points and detailed notes, both of which are major time savers.

Ok thanks everyone. I will give it a try tonight and get back to everyone. Thanks for all your help. But it might be difficult stop at the place I want to start up again at. Becuase I am Making a Hip-Hop Mixtape. and i need to start at the exact point I started off. In other words i have to be damn quick Well I will get back to all of you. Thanks again

Check out the scrub function, in accordance with auto-punch. You can get down to milliseconds...
