Thumbs up

I 'm new to the computer world. I have a Compaq 7468 with separate CD-Recordable / Re-writable & DVD drives. I have been downloading music from Napster.com to my HarDrive. What are my processes for recording music from my HardDrive to disc.
1)Which drive do I use? CD-RW?
2) What type of dics do I use? CD-R or CD-RW?
3) Do I have to format the discs? How to?
4) Where will I be able to play the CD's?
Home/Car / stereo? or just on Computer Drive?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

PS:Anyone familiar with Compaq units, can I accomplish this task with what I have, or, do I have to buy additional equipment?

Thanks,
Halp

Wink

Howdy,
Your computer should have the Adaptec software in it somewhere to run your CD burner. Click on the start button then clik on programs. If you want to play the CD's that you burn on your home stereo always use CD-R media and make shure that you click on close the session. If the session is not closed it will not play on your stereo.

Hope this helps.
