I am thinking of getting one of those Roland digital multitrack recorders? My question is, say you save your songs on zip or jaz... are they capable of being recalled on the VS just like they were when you saved them (separated into tracks)?

Yes. You can even copy them in playable mode and actually listen to the song from the Jaz disk. I probably wouldn't try to do any recording this way, since the Jaz disks aren't know for being really reliable.
