Don't have the info on hand, but if you visit www.musiciansfriend.com , www.allprosound.com, or www.samash.com you
should be able to find a good digital keyboard to fit in your budget! Good luck!.

A good place to start is to order the Electronic Musician Gear review for 1999 or 2000 (or their latest one)... I also think Keyboard has something similar. Both will give you lots of the technical specs. There is no substitute (old adage) for your ears and how you like the touch. Among other things, I have an Alesis QS8 which has 88 weighted keys and decent pianos... plus, it is priced pretty well and has other sounds if you need them. Check the two magaize "buying guides" first!! Good luck

Cool

Yo Blazer of Trails:

I have on order a Korg 88 key digital piano to add to my studio; it is supposed to have a very good piano patch; also, a few other sounds: vibes, strings, organ, to name a few. [There aren't many more.] However, you can layer two sounds and vibes and piano in unison for a riff sounds good to me. It weighs in at 40 pounds so it is very portable and it has the usual ins/outs and stereo headphone plug.

Price from Zzounds, ( if you spy/shop for them) is 739.00 plus free shipping.

Of course, there are many other models out there with more "stuff" built in. Depends what you're after.
