Question

hello , i can record a drum machine on the pc and a guitar through the mic together. They record on soundblaster audio pci 64v. Therefore 2 sounds being recorded. However i can't then play the recording and record onto it. Should i be able to do this?
Also the 'fun drum machine' has a keeboard , but this will not play when i'm recording. any ideas welcomed.
