Finally picked it up

I'm the proud owner of a brand spankin' new HD24. I'm retiring my two 20 bit ADATs to a road rack for a little backward compatibility and remote recording and dropping the HD24 into the studio system. I'll have to add another eight gozintas and gozoutas to the patchbay and build a new patchbay/snake for the ADATs in the mobile rack. Life is good.

Mr Rat... waay cool. I'm sure you'll put it to gooood use. Would you have thought back 10...15 years ago, you would oneday own a ONE piece 24 track digital machine, that whomps the sonic quality of a CD?....well, maybe you might have, but technolgy is just too cool...and like you said "life is good."

I was hopeing you'd see this thread Q. It'll be a while before it's in the rack but I'm going to try to record something real fast tonight with it sitting on the floor and post it. Why you ask? Because I can!

Congrats dude.... I hope I'll once have enough mics to fully use a 16 track system... Not that I have a 16 track system... Oh well... My priority still is chicks anyway.
