Money back garuntee on Sonar upgrade

FYI, I got a "Cakewalk newsletter" in my email box that says I can try a Sonar upgrade for 60 days and if I'm not happy return it for a full refund. I assume this is not just a special offer for me, and that anyone can take advantage of it. But, I can't find any info on the garuntee on the Cakewalk website. I posted the test from the newsletter below:

Purchase a SONAR 2.0 or SONAR 2.0 XL upgrade from Cakewalk between March 2nd and June 14th, 2002. Upgrades must be purchased by phone or from the Cakewalk Web Store by credit card. Once you receive your SONAR upgrade, you have 60 days to contact Cakewalk to get a full refund (minus the cost of shipping). you call, Cakewalk will assign you a SONAR Return Authorization number and provide you with a shipping address to return the software. You are required to ship back to Cakewalk your complete SONAR or SONAR XL package, including: original packaging, all CD-ROMs, User's Guide and registration card; plus a signed letter indicating that you have removed the software from your hard drive(s). You must include your Return Authorization number on your shipping label. Please allow 6-8 weeks following our receiving your returned software for your credit card to be credited the full amount of the SONAR upgrade, minus the shipping fee. Please remember that a return authorization number must first be obtained from Cakewalk by calling 888-Cakewalk, before the software can be returned for a refund.

I've never heard of such a thing. It seems like Cakewalk is just setting itself up for folks abusing this honor system. Still, it is a great way to check out Sonar to see if it really is worth the extra cash.
